Used in our kayaks, three-layers Poly-XR™ material is 30% more rigid than standard polyethylene, thanks to an advanced resin in the top layer. Pelican designers can then use less material to deliver the same incredible durability - resulting in a lighter and stiffer kayak that is easier to paddle, maneuver, even lift on top of your car. Plus, it has a glossy finish and deep color for an Elite look. |

Used in all Elite Series canoes, sandwiches a low-
density closed cell core between two layers of Ram-X™ polyethylene. Ram-X™ is a propriatary material, exclusive to Pelican, and known for its high impact-resistance, and ability to regain its shape after a violent impact. The closed cell core resists impacts, increases buoyancy, insulates from cold water and reduces noise and vibration. XcelCore™ is the industry benchmark

our Elite Series boats, including Olympic paddler, François Létourneau.
François competed in the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, and won several whitewater slalom championships. His experience as a world-class paddler, plus his expertise in industrial design and advanced composites, makes every Elite Series canoe and kayak world class, as well. |
